Comment: This waterbottle is awesome! I was very impressed with the bottle's quality and functionality. I especially love the large mouth which makes drinking from it a pleasure. I will probably be buying at least one of these in the not to distant future. I very much recommend this bottle.

Comment: I love it. Keeps water cold and does not affect the flavor at all. I'm happy that it is not leeching toxins into my body, and it helps the environment. My only fear is losing it, as it was a bit pricey.

Comment: These are good containers, to avoid plastics affecting your drinkiing water. BYOB to work, travel, meetings, or anywhere you might have to drink bottled water! I like the loop cap, because I can carry the bottle on my finger, like a little handle.

Comment: Whether the plastic is good or bad for you I'm glad my family switched to stainless steel. I've raised my kids to drink water instead of soda or juice,(please don't reply about how good juice is, they get way more v&n from real fruit) and this is a great way to personalize their hydration storage. The kids have the 18oz with the sport cap and my wife and I have the 27 with loop cap.
Please consider switching your family over to water. Many kids get a significant (over 15-20%) of their calories from sweet beverages. Those sodas add up. Enough of my rant, on to the review.
Great bottle. 27 oz. is a great size, the cap doesn't leak and screws on and off easy thanks to large threads. Note, if it doesn't go on easy don't force it. Back out and try again. I haven't had ANY problem with the lid threading but someone mentioned it on one of these klean kanteen reviews and I just wanted to put it out there.
I suspect it will last forever if not abused. There is an O-ring that forms the seal between the bottle and the cap that MAY wear out eventually. And since the bottle is fairly thin it could crack if abused.
When it does wear out I wont hesitate to get another Klean Kanteen.

Summary: I want a "safe" bottle, not one made in China
Comment:

With all the recent coverage on how China does not regard our safety in the least, I find it incredible that a product designed to keep us away from plastics and "safe" is made in China.

I'm getting a SIGG bottle...made in Switzerland. I will not support a country that could care less if my family is safe or not!
