Comment: I've never bought matcha green tea before, but I think this product is great. I use it for making green tea smoothies. It blends fairly well in hot water. You just have to whisk it quite vigorously. Great tasting though!

Ingredient grade matcha is made with less delicate tea leaves, has a stronger flavor and is ideal for using in cooking, baking and mixing with milk/yogurt drinks. It has the same health benefits as high-grade matcha. The price of ingredient grade is related to how green the matcha powder is, denoting the quality of tealeaves used. The greener a matcha is, the more expensive. We sourced this matcha from Koyamaen, one of the foremost producers of tea in Japan.
