Summary: Not bad
Comment: Though peppermint was second on the ingredient list, the scent of spearmint (third on the list) quickly presented itself as the boiling water hit my tea bag. The immediate sweetness surprised me a bit, even though I had read stevia on the label prior. However, it was really only an occasional sweetness that sort of piped up, rather than blending with the other flavors. Overall, it was a fair tea, with bold flavors each chiming in on different occasions, speaking up and then settling down to let the next flavor have a turn in the spotlight. Though there are only four ingredients, they didn't really commingle, but were decently complimentary. The stevia and cool mint flavors definitely tempered the natural mate taste, and left a refreshing feeling on my tongue.

I am still partial to the pure mint experience from Organic Stash, but this one isn't bad either. I certainly wouldn't turn it down if offered, but found a bit more intrigue in the chocolatte.

I marked one star down, as it wasn't the best mint tea I had trialed (but still good) and one star as the price is rather exorbant for a tea that is quite cheap.

Summary: Mint Mate
Comment: My favorite one in the Guayaki Yerba Mate collection, and my all time favorite tea! Guayaki Magical Mint Mate has an incredibly smooth taste and texture, with wonderfully rich and fulfilling mint flavor successfully infused to it. This tea is something else, it takes you to the rain forests where it grows. I have never physically benefited from any other tea as much as I have from this one; it is energizing, relaxing, and renovating. It increases my energy levels and keep them high throughout the day, and brings about mental comfort. I have never looked back and regretted once how much I had to pay for it.

Summary: My favorite blend
Comment: Of the five blends of Yerba Mate I've tried, this is my favorite. This yeilds a strong and rich mint flavor and is intensely more satisfying than regular tea. It is also certified organic, and does produce desireable effects. I sip it hot or cold all throughout the day, and I feel invigorated and able to think with clarity. Also, after just two days of including Yerba Mate in my diet, I lost 8 pounds! Try any of the flavors...the cocoa (chocolate) blend is good as well.
