Comment: This product is a great value, however you have to press down very hard to and have it snapped really tight for the auger to work and we found it easier if you put pennies on the pressure points on the tower where the base snaps to it. it keeps the chocolate warm without scorching it

Comment: We use this fountain during the Hoidays for customers to dip sample items to try. We use almost everyday for about two weeks just before Christmas and works very well. Like any chocolate fountain cleaning it up after you use it is when the real fun begins.

Summary: Not a good investment
Comment: Unfortunately,I bought this fountain for the 1st. birthday party of my granddaughter..and as you can imagine, we were very excited about it. We spent hours trying to make it work properly, we spent a lot of chocolate, lots of oil and never worked and it had a horrible noise. I called the company and explained in detail my case and the man on the phone said they will refund my money.... yes, I am still waiting. Not only I had bad luck getting a broken fountain but bad luck in getting my money back.

Summary: disappointed
Comment: I bought the SF Signature Fondue Chocolate and the Rival CFF5 Fountain (but they sent me the CFF5-CHP) for my engagement party. After reading the reviews on both, I thought I'd better spring for the expensive chocolate because it was going to be the centerpiece of my dessert table and I REALLY needed it to work perfectly. I put 3 bags of chocolate (6 lbs) into the fountain and it started, but wasn't coming out like the picture. It didn't exactly come out in sheets. I didn't have it near a door/window or near an air vent. I saw that adding more chocolate helped other people, so I added another 2 lbs bag (even though there was already clearly enough chocolate in it). It didn't change. The flow got weaker by the end of the night. When I went to empty and clean the fountain, I found that the chocolate had clumped up a bit at the bottom where that guard thing was, and the chocolate there was REALLY hot (almost burned me). Overall, I was disappointed with the whole thing. The guests did love it- but they didn't know how it was SUPPOSED to look. I'm not sure if it was the chocolate or the fountain that caused the problem though. I do plan on giving it another shot but I plan to try it with regular chocolate and just add oil to it next time (since the expensive stuff didn't work for me anyway).
