Summary: one time fun
Comment: I baught this chocolate fountain and brought it to a baby shower and it was definitely fun. I used the liquid chocolate from J&D Fine Foods, so it was really easy to set up and tasted really great. Unfortunately it only lasted for two hours and then the chocolate cascade stopped. After the cleanup I noticed that the auger was all worn out, since it was just made out of plastic. Too bad. I contacted Rival but this product is discontinued and I could also not get a replacement part from them. However, they offered me to get another item as replacement. If I ever buy another chocolate fountain I will probably get a smaller unit.

Comment: The fountain arrived in good condition. I also used premixed chocolate so the fountain worked well; after I let it warm up for about an hour. The instructions said the the fountain only needed to warm for 3 to 5 minutes before turning on the fountain motor, but that was definitely not enough time for the fountain to run smoothly. Everything else was as stated in the description. Clean up was a breeze.

Comment: I AM A CATERER, I USED THIS FOUNTAIN FOR A COMPANY EVENT AND IT WAS A GREAT HIT. IT IS VERY EASY TO SET UP AND USE. I DID BUY THE CHOCOLATE THAT YOU DON'T HAVE TO ADD OIL TO AND IT WAS WONDERFUL. FOR THE PRICE IT LOOKS IMPRESSIVE I DON'T THINK YOU CAN GO WRONG.

Comment: i'm not sure if it was my oil to chocolate ratio that was off, but i wasn't able to get the best cascading effect. after about an hour of the machine being on, the first tier began to flow properly, but the second tier was still lacking. overall it was great, but i wish i knew that it's best to have the fountain going for at least an hour before my guests arrived...
