Summary: Fabulous Fountain
Comment: Purchased this product for a recognition lunch for our team and this just topped off the event adding that extra something. It was a big hit, we used the liquid chocolate so we wouldn't have to mess with making our own, we don't have a stove in our office kitchen. This was easy to assemble and it was not bad to clean up. The chocolate we used was very tasty, we had fresh fruit, pound cake, and pretzels for dipping. The machine definitely has to be on a sturdy table so it doesn't wobble and we found it was a little noisey but more of a constant hummmm. Great product, very pleased and looking forward to using this again.

Comment: I ordered this product about two months before the planned graduation celebration. Luckily we discovered that the auger was missing from the box in time to get the unit replaced from the company. They we're extremely responsive and helpful in sending us the missing parts.
We ordered the liquid chocolate, and used about 4 - 5 lbs of it for the graduation party. The fountain worked like a charm. It was so cool. Our guests loved it. My daughter even took the remaining chocolate and the entire fountain to her after graduation party.
The chocolate does tend to become a little thick after few hours of use, and the fountain will stop working. The clean-up is a glorious chocolate mess, but even so, this is a must have item! This product is great. We could not be more pleased.

Summary: Flowed Only One Time
Comment: Today, my friend was hosting a baby shower & asked to borrow my chocolate fountain. I had only used it one time before. We set it up according to the directions & the fountain flowed for about 2 minutes and then it stopped. The plastic rotating piece in middle that creates the flow of chocolate had been deformed: the metal twisting auger melted the plastic .Since I just bought this a few months ago and only used it once, I called Rival to find out about the replacement of this part (they supposedly have a 1-year warranty). I was told that they could not honor the warranty since the product has been discontinued. Furthermore, even if the product had not been discontinued, I was told that Rival does not honor warranties on products bought on Amazon. Basically, I now have a really expensive chocolate fondue pot. I wonder if this is why this product has been discontinued.

Summary: Wow, this thing is awesome
Comment: I ordered the fountain for my daughter's 13th birthday party. It was a big hit, not only with the kids but the adults loved it too. Set up was easy, we assembled it in minutes, poured in the chocolate and it flowed. No problems whatsoever. I did decide to use chocolate made specifically for fountains so I bought the SF Signature Fountain and Fondue Milk Chocolate, you put the pouch in the microwave, heat and pour. It was delicious, everyone was commenting on how good the chocolate tasted. A few people were asking where I purchased the fountain looking to pick one up themselves. I was very pleased with how well it turned out.

Comment: I bought one last year, and we used it at a party we threw for the college-age interns from a Champions Tour golf tournement. They loved it. One intern was just standing at it for teh longest time. I asked, "am I going to come down in the morning, and find you still standing there?" She smiled and said, "yup!" Will use it at the intern party again this year and soon when I have some people over to work in cars and a BBQ.
My sister-in-law has two young boys, and they and the children's friends love it. What little kid wouldn't?
You may not use it a lot, but it is a fun item to pull out.
I haven't tried it with BBQ sauce. I may for a party sometime. A BBQ sauce fountain and pieces of cubed, grilled meat. Sounds good.
