Do not leave the teabag in the water to 'make it stronger', you will only make it more bitter. Steep for 1.5-2 minutes for a tasty cup that is lighter than an average black tea. Also try using 4-6 oz of water instead of 10-14 oz which is the size of an average mug. By brewing in less water the tea brew will be stronger and tastier. Teabags can be reused once if brewed immediately and with water of a lower temperature. Do not use a teabag again if it has been out for hours or overnight.

Iced tea brewing method: (to make 1 liter/quart): Place 6 teaspoons of tea into a teapot or heat resistant pitcher. Pour 1 1/4 cups of freshly boiled water over the tea. Steep for 5 minutes. Quarter fill a serving pitcher with cold water. Pour the tea into your serving pitcher straining the leaves. Add ice and top up the pitcher with cold water. Garnish and sweeten to taste.
